Wind power returns to the Atlantic this January with the launch of the first ship featuring the new Beluga Skysail. In effect an enormous kite, the sail can be attached to around 80% of ships, and reduces fuel consumption by around 10%. Theoretically it could be used by even the largest container ships, with a sail the size of a football field.
