Department for energy and climate change

We didn’t notice much, because all the headlines went to the return of Peter ‘third time lucky’ Mandelson, but the government created a new department for energy and climate change last week.

It’s an unusually bold move, is generally reckoned to be a good thing, and probably deserved more attention than it got.
