I’ve mentioned the record year 2010 has been so far, although our limp British summer means we haven’t noticed it here. Here’s the same point in video form:
I should point out a potential misunderstanding in the video before someone else does – the video says arctic sea ice was at an all-time low in 2010. This is a new low for sea ice volume, not extent. 2010 was the third lowest year for sea ice extent.
