What we learned this week

  • A couple of years ago I was at Britain’s first Steady State conference, which made a good start at shaping some solutions for creating a low growth society. The work that started there has now evolved into a book, Enough is Enough, by Rob Dietz and Dan O’Neill.
  • The Hidden Cost is a neat little series of videos on corporations’ social and environmental performance.
  • If you’ve got time for something a little longer, this is a fine article on the link between innovation and growth, and the merits of the argument that we’re on an innovation plateau.
