What we learned this week

  • The new Zero Carbon Britain report was launched on Wednesday. It’s always one of the more ambitious decarbonisation plans out there, but always well presented and inspiring, and I shall be reading it in due course.
  • Living at the top of a steep hill, I am envious of the people of Trondheim and their bicycle cable lift. It’s the only one in the world so far, but the campaign to bring it to Luton starts here.
  • Next time you’re in a supermarket, wander down the cereal aisle and look at the cartoon characters on the children’s cereals. What are they looking at?

PS – I’m away this week. I’ve scheduled a couple of things, but I won’t be replying to comments.
