International development doesn’t feature very highly on the blogosphere list of priorities, dominated as it is by gadgets, Obama, and all things Apple.
But there are a few development bloggers out there, and since it’s more of a niche you tend to get better writers. Anyone can write about the new mac book, after all.
Here’s a few I know of. If anyone’s got any others that they read, let me know.
From poverty to power – Just found this one this week and it inspired me to write this post. Duncan Green, head of research at Oxfam UK, explores how “active citizens and effective states can change the world.”
Aid Watch – a recently launched NYU project from William Easterly, author of White Man’s Burden.
Dani Rodrik – a professor at Harvard who is full of interesting questions.
Ideas 4 development – lots of creative thinking from an international team of writers.
Chris Blattman – writing about poverty, development and conflict from Yale University.
DfID blogs – staff members from UK’s Department for International Development share more personal experiences.

Just started writing this one recently…
