The TED conference has been running this week in Oxford, an intriguing gathering of creative minds. I’ve been following along on the blog. So far they’ve heard from, among many others, Alain de Botton, Stephen Fry, and William Kamkwamba, who built a windmill out of old bike parts in his village in Malawi.
Gordon Brown talked about poverty, Rob Hopkins is presenting the transitions vision. Wigan Willard showed his miniature scupltures, and poet Peter Vermeersch shared his experiences of re-writing the European Constitution as poetry.
The videos will no doubt be posted in time, and I will link to them then. In the meantime, you can follow the notes from tomorrow’s sessions here.
