An urgent message from the folks at 10:10 – the Lib Dems have tabled an Opposition day debate on Wednesday to get parliament to sign up to the 10:10 commitment. It would see parliament itself, the government and the whole of the public sector commit to reducing its CO2 emissions by 10% by the end of 2010.
It would be a remarkable opportunity, and would get the government leading by example in a way that couldn’t be ignored. But, that gives us just 48 hours to galvanise support for the motion in Parliament.
You can write to your MP through 38 degrees. It will only take you a minute.
