A toast to the Shell oil company

This was the ad that Amnesty International had booked in the Financial Times on Tuesday, which the FT pulled without warning. All the more reason to publish it as broadly as possible on the internet. You can follow the campaign here.

  1. Throughout this crisis in the Gulf of Mexico, the other crisis’s in the world have been downplayed and not worth mention. However, if the advertising people have any conscience of humanity and the future of the worlds’ population, they need to let the truth be told. We will all suffer the huge impact of all these short-sighted and bottom line mega companies. The oil will spread to their children and the impact will never be lost, of course if they have been allowed to see the truth of what their parents have done in order to make a profit so they can live in the style they currently have. What ‘s a few thousand deaths for the sake of profit and environmental impact to the less important people in the world. The exception is this, this has all their hands all over it and they can’t wash them clean with polluted water.
