The fat of the land

The spoof viral can be a dangerous game for a campaign, as 10:10 demonstrated in quite spectacular fashion last year. Humour can be misunderstood, wilfully so if you’ve already got enemies, and something you thought was funny can be turned back at you. Still, when it does work it can be a powerful weapon.

So Practical Action have taken a bold step with The fat of the land, a short film about how not to do development. It’s certainly a little near the knuckle. See what you make of it, and when you’ve watched it, check out the campaign in a little more detail at the Practical Action website.
