What we learned this week

In this week's links collection - the dog that's worth a million pounds, and why it is evidence of a market bubble in the Chinese economy.
  • What does a £1 million dog look like? Like a bath towel with a face, basically.
  • And is that dog evidence of a investment bubble? Quite possibly. Vikram Mansharmani’s guidelines on how to spot a market bubble don’t mention it, but it looks like it to me.

  1. Thanks for your kind words Jeremy!! I did get a chance to hear Jonathan Watts on Kaiser Kuo’s Sinica Podcast a few months back, and remembered he was just a cool interesting guy, so I had to check the book out. I’m working in Envirotech (Water) so I push myself to read an Envirobook now and then. China’s story is both frightening and thrilling. Glad you to hear you enjoyed it!
