Live Below the Line – interview

There are 23 different charities participating in the fundraising side of Live Below the Line. I’m donating to the Global Poverty Project, who run the challenge and just happen to work out of the same office as me in London. I popped upstairs to talk to the UK campaign manager for Live Below the Line, Stephen Brown, and find out where the idea for the challenge came from.

PS – if you’d like to make a donation, you can do so here.

  1. Stephen nailed it right on the head. I work for the Global Poverty Project and I was around with Rich Fleming when we grew the Live Below the Line idea. For me it is the closest understanding you can have of extreme poverty from your own home… I have been living below the line for the past 4 weeks with a week to go and can share other insights that support everything Stephen has said.
