This week I came across Totally Locally, a campaign to encourage local shopping. It caught my attention, as it looks like a great way for Transition Town initiatives and other local community groups to promote local business. The campaign is essentially an off-the-shelf marketing kit, made available free of charge. Totally Locally provide the brand and the plan, and community volunteers do the legwork and apply it to their own towns.
So far there are 15 towns involved, with dozens more interested. I’d like to see Luton on that list, and if you want to help make that happen, give me a shout.
