Last week I read How to Change the World by John Paul Flintoff, which I will review shortly. One of the themes of the book is non-violent protest, and at the back is an appendix that lists 198 different forms that it can take. When we think of protest, we probably think of marches, petitions and strikes, but there are dozens of other protest actions.
This list was compiled by Gene Sharp, an expert in non-violent struggle. It was collected over the years, observing current affairs and history, so each of the methods on the list has been used somewhere in the world. You can browse it in full at the Albert Einstein Institution website, but I thought I would just list 40 as a sample of the diverse and vibrant world of peaceful protest.

The Earthbound Report 
I am here to protest that people whom are not born or raised in American shouldn’t be removed from the country because they are one who got an opportunity to make it better and try to gasp the opportunity they get because at their country cause they might not get It at their country which may lead to that they should come to the country and make it a better environment. And by the president trying to take them out of the country how is it possible for them, so what am saying is not to band international travels or permanent residence to be remove from the country and to let them stay.
Thank you for putting this out there. I agree with your opinion and I hope more people would come to agree with this as well.
Peaceful protests are more valuable and more effective. These movements are what make a stand be heard. It makes volunteers and participants respect the law, but it will establish safety for all; being violent will only worsen the situation and not make any changes.
