Two thoughts:
1. Once a threshold in consumption levels is crossed, it looks like happiness is basically uncorrelated with footprint (that’s a good thing)
2. the decrease in available biocapacity over the last 50 years is frightening. That clearly shows that humans are destroying our natural support systems.
